The Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with the Babel Police Directorate – Forensic Evidence Department, organized a specialized scientific workshop titled "Crime Scene". This initiative aims to strengthen the integration between academic education and practical applications, contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, by providing a comprehensive educational environment that enhances applied learning.

The workshop brought together a distinguished group of academics and forensic experts, along with representatives from security institutions. It featured a realistic simulation of a crime scene, offering students the opportunity to apply their practical skills in analyzing fingerprints, blood traces, and crime-related tools. This interactive approach enhances their professional competencies in line with the latest scientific standards, supporting SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by developing forensic investigation skills and strengthening the rule of law through education and practical training.

At the conclusion of the event, officers and participants were honored in recognition of their efforts in supporting educational and training processes, reaffirming the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and security agencies. This aligns with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which emphasizes fostering partnerships to exchange expertise and enhance professional capabilities.
