As part of its commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships and bridging the gap between university education and professional practice, Al-Mustaqbal University has strengthened its cooperation with the judicial institution in Babylon Governorate through an official visit by Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University, accompanied by a delegation from the College, to the Presidency of the Babylon Court of Appeal.
The delegation was received by His Honour Judge Hamed Nomas, President of the Babylon Court of Appeal. During the visit, the delegation extended its congratulations and best wishes to Judge Nomas on the occasion of assuming his new duties, wishing him continued success in carrying out his judicial responsibilities and in serving the principles of justice and the rule of law.
The meeting addressed a number of areas of mutual interest and explored prospects for strengthening cooperation between Al-Mustaqbal University and the judicial institution. Discussions focused on enhancing the practical dimension of legal education, providing broader opportunities for students of the College of Law to gain insight into the judicial work environment, and benefiting from specialized judicial expertise and professional practices. These efforts aim to enhance students' readiness to enter the legal and judicial professions.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of expanding academic and professional cooperation through the exchange of expertise and knowledge between academics, judges, and legal professionals. Such collaboration can contribute to developing educational and training activities that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience and respond to the evolving requirements of the legal and judicial sectors.
