Al-Mustaqbal University Alumni Forum 2026: A Sustainable Partnership Between the University and Its Graduates Toward Broader Horizons of Excellence

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal University organized its First Alumni Forum 2026 under the theme "Alumni: Partners in Success and Makers of the Future." The forum was held at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the Center for Continuing Education at the Al-Qadiyah Campus, in the presence of Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, with the participation of a distinguished gathering of the University's alumni, representatives of government institutions and the private sector, as well as a number of college deans, directors of centers, and administrative departments at the University Presidency.
The forum was organized as part of Al-Mustaqbal University's strategic vision to establish a dynamic and sustainable alumni network and strengthen long-term institutional engagement with its graduates, recognizing their pivotal role in supporting the University's academic mission and contributing to sustainable development. The initiative also aims to expand collaboration and professional networking with labor market institutions, creating valuable opportunities for professional development, employment, and knowledge exchange.
In his opening address, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi emphasized that the University's graduates represent the true extension of its academic and educational mission, and that their academic and professional achievements reflect the quality of education provided by Al-Mustaqbal University. He reaffirmed the University's commitment to continuously developing professional qualification and training programs, while strengthening strategic partnerships across various sectors to enhance graduates' readiness for the evolving labor market and empower them to make meaningful contributions to society.
The forum featured presentations delivered by representatives from public and private sector institutions, highlighting initiatives and programs that support graduates in the fields of entrepreneurship, industrial development, and employment opportunities. It also included a presentation by Professor Dr. Eman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University Presidency, who outlined the University's strategic vision and future plans for graduate employability, career development, and skills enhancement in line with the rapidly evolving demands of the labor market.
Participants also stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and employment sectors, commending the academic excellence and professional competencies demonstrated by Al-Mustaqbal University graduates, as well as the University's role in preparing highly qualified professionals capable of innovation, competitiveness, and excellence across a wide range of disciplines.
The forum also showcased a number of inspiring alumni success stories, highlighting graduates who have achieved distinguished academic and professional accomplishments in diverse fields. In addition, it presented examples of outstanding young graduates who have joined the University's academic and administrative staff in recognition of their academic excellence, reflecting the University's commitment to attracting talented individuals and investing in its graduates as strategic partners in institutional development and excellence.
The event concluded with a guided tour of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the Center for Continuing Education, during which guests and alumni explored the University's state-of-the-art laboratories, advanced technologies, and specialized programs designed to support innovation, entrepreneurship, scientific research, and community engagement.
The forum reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's unwavering commitment to strengthening the role of its graduates as strategic partners in its journey of development by establishing a sustainable framework for collaboration that promotes knowledge exchange, supports the continuous advancement of academic programs, and aligns educational outcomes with the evolving needs of the labor market.
