As part of the scientific and practical activities organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering Technologies, a specialized training workshop was held on the suction device and DC shock machine. The workshop was presented by Al-Shiraa Al-Azraq Training and Development Company, under the supervision of Dr. Rami Qais, Eng. Ali Ibrahim, and Eng. Noor Ali.
The workshop saw active participation from students:
Mohammed Haidar Nassif, Ziyad Ibrahim Jassim, Sajjad Ahmed, and Mohammed Fakher, who received hands-on training on how to operate both devices, understand their internal components, perform maintenance, and acquire skills in diagnosing and handling technical malfunctions.
The workshop aimed to enhance the practical skills of students and connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, contributing to their readiness for the medical and healthcare job market—in alignment with SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
This workshop is part of a series of developmental workshops the department is organizing in collaboration with specialized institutions to equip students with practical experience and keep pace with advancements in medical device technologies.
