In line with the directives of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, aimed at strengthening the University's institutional role in supporting higher education and contributing to academic policymaking, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi participated, on behalf of the University President, in the Tenth Session of the Private Higher Education Council, hosted by Knowledge University and attended by a distinguished group of academic leaders and representatives of private higher education institutions in Iraq.
This participation reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to actively contributing to the advancement of the higher education sector and enhancing the quality of educational outcomes, in alignment with national efforts to improve the higher education system and promote sustainable development.
The session addressed several strategic issues aimed at strengthening the efficiency of educational institutions, including improving academic and administrative performance, overcoming challenges facing the private higher education sector in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and enhancing student services and the educational environment to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.
These efforts are closely aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) through supporting educational excellence and effective learning opportunities. They also contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by promoting good governance and strengthening educational policies, as well as Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through fostering collaboration and coordination among higher education institutions and relevant stakeholders to advance the academic sector in Iraq.
