Al-Mustaqbal University organized the "Life Underwater" campaign, which included the rehabilitation of the Hilla River with fish fingerlings, as part of its commitment to enhancing environmental sustainability and preserving the fishery resources in Babil Governorate.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, contributing to the achievement of Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) by supporting fish resources as a sustainable food source, and at the same time, contributing to Goal 14 (Life Below Water) by preserving aquatic ecosystems and ensuring the sustainability of marine resources.
Through this campaign, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its active role in adopting environmental and developmental projects that promote sustainability and serve the local community, reflecting the university’s commitment to applying sustainable environmental practices that contribute to the protection of natural resources and ensure their sustainability for future generations.
