Al-Mustaqbal University Invests in Educational Infrastructure to Support Innovation and Sustainable Development

As part of its ongoing commitment to developing an integrated educational and research environment and enhancing the quality of its academic infrastructure, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majidi, accompanied by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, conducted a field inspection tour to follow up on the progress of the University's expansion and development projects, including the development and expansion of lecture halls and modern laboratories serving the University's colleges.
The tour included a direct review of the implementation stages and progress achieved across the projects, as well as an inspection of construction works and technical finishing. The delegation also assessed compliance with approved planning and engineering specifications and quality standards to ensure the provision of appropriate and sustainable educational and research facilities that meet the needs of students and academic staff.
The President of the University emphasized the importance of maintaining progress in accordance with the established timelines while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety throughout project implementation. He commended the efforts of the University's Directorate of Administrative Affairs and the executing company, as well as the engineering and technical teams responsible for monitoring the various stages of implementation. These efforts contribute to preparing the University campus to meet the future academic and educational needs of the University.
The expansion and development projects form part of Al-Mustaqbal University's strategic vision of investing in educational and research infrastructure and providing a modern university environment that supports applied education and scientific research. They also contribute to enhancing the quality of educational services provided to students in line with the rapidly evolving requirements of the higher education sector.
These efforts are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through providing a supportive educational environment that promotes quality teaching and learning, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, through developing educational and laboratory infrastructure and enhancing its capacity to support education, research, and innovation.
The expansion and development projects also support the University's efforts to establish a more efficient and sustainable campus by adopting forward-looking approaches to educational facilities and enhancing their capacity to accommodate future growth in student enrolment, academic disciplines, and educational programmes.
Through these projects, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to continued investment in people, infrastructure, and knowledge, while providing a safe, modern, and stimulating university environment that promotes learning, research, and innovation and contributes to building a higher-quality and more sustainable educational system.
