Within the framework of concluding the international training program for students of Al-Mustaqbal University at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) in Turkey, the closing ceremony of the program was held in cooperation with the Turkey Ministry of Youth and Sports, in an atmosphere that reflected the spirit of international academic cooperation and the strengthening of partnerships between educational institutions.
The ceremony was attended by high-level representatives, led by Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Professor Dr. Mehmet Kılınç, Assistant Administrator at Alanya University, along with representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports. During the event, international participation certificates were awarded to the participating students in recognition of their achievements throughout the program.
In his speech, the University President expressed his pride in the outstanding performance demonstrated by the students, praising their discipline, commitment, and active engagement in training activities. He emphasized that this experience represents an important step in building their scientific and practical capabilities and enhancing their readiness to integrate into global work environments, contributing to the preparation of a qualified and competitive generation.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, faculty members and supervisors from both sides were honored with commemorative shields and appreciation gifts in recognition of their efforts in managing and supervising the training program, which contributed significantly to achieving its academic and developmental objectives.
The President of the University also met with the President of Alanya University, Professor Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, where discussions focused on strengthening academic cooperation and expanding scientific exchange between the two institutions, as well as emphasizing the importance of continuing joint programs in training and research.
Representatives of the university and the ministry praised the students’ performance and discipline, noting that the program represented a successful model of integration between academic training and cultural exchange, and contributed to strengthening intercultural communication among students.
This program aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing an international learning experience that enhances practical skills, Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by preparing students for the global labor market, Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through advanced skills training and modern technologies, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening academic cooperation between universities and international institutions.
The program concluded after a series of diverse training activities, including scientific lectures, specialized workshops, field visits, and cultural excursions, all of which contributed to the development of students’ scientific, humanistic, and cultural competencies.
