Innovation and Digital Transformation Strengthen Sustainable Pharmaceutical Education at Al-Mustaqbal University

Under the patronage of Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the College of Pharmacy participated with a distinguished academic and scientific delegation in the First International Conference of Pharmacy Colleges in Iraq. The delegation was led by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Khalid Al-Dhalimi, in collaboration with the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate and several Iraqi and Arab universities.
The College’s participation included honoring the Dean for his pioneering role in developing pharmaceutical education, while the College’s exhibition booth attracted significant attention from researchers and academics from Iraq and the Arab world. This provided extensive opportunities for knowledge exchange, scientific collaboration, and showcasing modern pharmaceutical innovations.
The conference focused on updating pharmacy curricula to align with digital transformation and labor market needs, promoting high-quality scientific research, and highlighting the role of technology and artificial intelligence in the future of pharmacy, in addition to supporting sustainable innovation in the healthcare sector.
Al-Mustaqbal University’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
