The Student Activities Department at Al-Mustaqbal University has commenced the second phase of the “Ramadan Brings Us Together” initiative through the distribution of integrated food baskets targeting underprivileged families and orphans, as part of an organized volunteer program during the holy month of Ramadan.
This step follows the positive outcomes achieved during the first phase, which witnessed strong engagement from students and staff and contributed to delivering support to a significant number of beneficiary families. The initiative has further strengthened the culture of giving and teamwork both within and beyond the university campus.
The program represents a practical model for integrating student activities with social responsibility by engaging students in structured field initiatives that promote solidarity and contribute to improving the living conditions of vulnerable groups.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 1 – No Poverty, by supporting low-income families, and SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, through the provision of comprehensive food baskets. It also advances SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals by encouraging community engagement and collaborative action.
Through the continuation of such initiatives, Al-Mustaqbal University continues to strengthen its role as an educational institution that combines academic excellence with active community engagement, contributing to the development of a responsible university environment that supports long-term sustainable development.
