Al-Mustaqbal University proudly announces the launch of the fourth production season of the white Agaricus mushroom (Agaricus bisporus), as part of its ongoing Sustainable Agriculture Project, initiated in 2021 to promote circular farming and clean production.
The project serves as an integrated research model that combines life sciences and biotechnology in a practical application contributing to food security and the reduction of environmental impact.
The production system relies on scientifically recycled organic waste, utilized to strengthen agricultural foundations through an environmentally controlled process that ensures precise regulation of temperature, humidity, and lighting, providing optimal conditions for cultivating high-quality mushrooms.
This initiative represents one of the key outcomes of Al-Mustaqbal University’s Sustainability Program, aimed at building a research-oriented educational ecosystem that bridges knowledge with practical application, fostering the development of smart and eco-friendly production models.
Through this project, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms that science remains the driving force behind sustainable development.
