In preparation for the 11th Scientific Conference on Arab Women’s Sports, organized by Al-Mustaqbal University in partnership with a number of local and Arab universities and academic institutions, the conference’s scientific committees held a preparatory meeting to discuss the final arrangements ahead of the conference, scheduled to take place on 10–11 October 2026 at Al-Mustaqbal University.
The conference follows the completion of all scientific and organizational requirements and the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for its organization, reflecting its academic significance and role in supporting specialized scientific research in the field of Arab women’s sports, while promoting academic dialogue and the exchange of expertise in this area.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Prof. Dr. Mazin Hadi Gazzar, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, as well as the heads of the conference’s scientific themes and members of its specialized committees.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi conveyed the greetings of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, to the attendees. He emphasized the President’s directives to work in a spirit of teamwork and coordinated scientific and organizational efforts, contributing to the successful implementation of the conference and strengthening its academic and scientific standing.
The meeting addressed a number of scientific and organizational matters, including coordinating the work of the committees according to the conference’s scientific themes, reviewing the conference agenda, and completing the necessary organizational procedures to ensure the smooth implementation of its sessions and the achievement of its academic objectives.
Dr. Al-Zuhairi also emphasized the importance of strengthening integration among the scientific and specialized committees and enhancing the quality of the participating research and studies. This would contribute to providing a specialized academic platform that brings together researchers, academics, experts, and those interested in women’s sports from across the Arab world, while facilitating the exchange of experiences and perspectives aimed at advancing women’s sports.
The conference reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to expanding academic and scientific cooperation with local and Arab universities and institutions, activating partnerships that support knowledge production and the exchange of expertise, and promoting scientific research addressing issues related to sports, women, and community development.
The 11th Scientific Conference on Arab Women’s Sports is expected to serve as a specialized Arab platform for scientific dialogue and knowledge and expertise exchange, providing an opportunity to present studies, perspectives, and proposals that contribute to the development of women’s sports and strengthen women’s presence in the Arab sporting and academic landscape.
