As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to enhance students’ practical skills and promote the internationalization of academic education, the intensive training programme for students of the College of Engineering Technologies continues at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom. The fourth day of the programme, held on Thursday, 3 September 2026, focused on advanced applications of artificial intelligence and modern robotic systems.
The training programme featured intensive hands-on activities in specialized laboratories, where students conducted practical experiments at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, one of the leading research centres in the United Kingdom and Europe specializing in robotics and artificial intelligence. This experience provided students with direct exposure to advanced research and development environments and cutting-edge robotic technologies.
The programme also included practical training in the operation and programming of quadruped robots, as well as autonomous intelligent systems. Students explored how artificial intelligence algorithms are integrated into these systems to enhance their capabilities in intelligent response and decision-making.
The training sessions also featured interactive workshops delivered by specialized trainers, researchers, and experts at UWE Bristol. These sessions focused on the application of robotics and artificial intelligence to address complex challenges and develop innovative technological solutions, enabling students to strengthen their ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications in emerging technological fields.
The programme reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to expanding international academic cooperation and providing students with high-quality educational and training opportunities in leading global academic and research environments.
