As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to strengthen practical education and bridge academic knowledge with field-based application, the Animal Production Technologies Department at the College of Agricultural Technologies conducted a practical activity focused on monitoring the health status of pregnant ewes. The activity aimed to enhance students’ practical skills and develop their field experience in the field of animal production.
The activity included a series of practical examinations and applications involving pregnant ewes, under the supervision of Instructor Sarour Hafez Mohammed, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in health monitoring, examination, and diagnostic procedures, as well as in the appropriate practical handling of animal cases in accordance with scientific practices.
The activity was attended and followed up by Assistant Dean Prof. Dr. Tahani Jawad Mohammed Ali, who reviewed the progress of the practical applications and supported the provision of an appropriate educational environment that contributes to enhancing students’ practical capabilities.
These activities are part of the College of Agricultural Technologies’ commitment to strengthening the practical dimension of academic education and developing students’ field-based competencies, thereby contributing to the preparation of specialized graduates capable of supporting the livestock sector and promoting sustainable health and productivity practices in the agricultural and animal-production fields.
