Al-Mustaqbal University and the General Directorate of Industrial Development Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Empower Youth and Transform Entrepreneurial Ideas into Productive Projects in Support of Sustainable Development

As part of efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Al-Mustaqbal University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Directorate of Industrial Development at the Ministry of Industry and Minerals to enhance cooperation in scientific, research, and training fields, empower students and graduates, and support entrepreneurial projects.
Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, represented Al-Mustaqbal University, while Dr. Eng. Ali Ibrahim Jinaan, Director General of the Directorate, represented the General Directorate of Industrial Development. The signing ceremony was attended by several officials from both institutions.
The Memorandum aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and implement joint programs that contribute to developing entrepreneurial skills and fostering innovation and creativity among students and graduates in line with labour market requirements and economic development needs.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reinforcing the University's role in supporting a knowledge-based economy and sustainable development.
