As part of its commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promoting environmental and societal awareness, Al-Mustaqbal University, through the Center for Continuing Education in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Division, has organized a complementary training course within the "Youth Skills Development in Sustainable Development" program.
The course targeted faculty members from various disciplines, including medical, engineering, and humanities sectors, aiming to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate sustainability concepts into curricula and research projects.
Five specialized trainers led the sessions, covering the following key topics:
✅ Concepts and dimensions of sustainability and their impact on different sectors.
✅ Green education and its role in achieving sustainable development in academic institutions.
✅ Effective management and implementation of sustainability projects using practical methodologies.
✅ The role of volunteer campaigns in enhancing environmental and social awareness.
✅ The Sustainability Ambassadors Program, linking theoretical knowledge with real-world case studies.
This course aims to empower youth in achieving sustainable development by providing them with the necessary tools to actively participate in environmental and community projects, in alignment with the university’s vision of embedding sustainability as an academic and societal approach.
At the end of the course, participants received certified certificates from the Center for Continuing Education, enabling them to apply sustainability principles effectively in their respective fields.
