The College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the field visit of the National Evaluation Team as part of the academic accreditation and institutional evaluation procedures, reflecting the University’s continuous commitment to implementing quality standards and advancing the educational and academic environment in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the national accreditation standards.
The visit included several academic, administrative, and field-related aspects connected to the College and its educational programs. The evaluation team met with the Assistant Administrative Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Munther, and reviewed the work of the Human Resources Department and the mechanisms for managing the teaching, technical, and administrative staff of the College, reflecting the level of administrative organization and institutional support for the educational process.
The evaluation team also conducted field visits to several healthcare and training institutions, including Marjan Teaching Hospital, where they were received by Dr. Fadhil Al-Sultani, Director of the hospital. The team reviewed the roles and performance of graduates from the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University and their contributions to healthcare and medical services, demonstrating the quality of the College’s outcomes and its role in supplying the healthcare sector with qualified professionals.
The visit also included Babylon Private Hospital to observe the practical and training aspects related to the College’s students and graduates, as well as the integration between theoretical knowledge and practical application within healthcare work environments, contributing to the enhancement of medical and technical education quality.
The visit concluded with a meeting with the Assistant Scientific Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, during which the team reviewed academic and student affairs, as well as the mechanisms for developing academic programs and enhancing the educational environment in line with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean of the College, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, praised the efforts of the National Council and the National Evaluation Team, expressing her appreciation for their valuable scientific observations and professional guidance, which represent significant support for the continuous development and improvement process and contribute to strengthening quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, as well as enhancing educational programs in service of students, academic institutions, and society.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) through enhancing the quality of academic and practical education; Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through preparing qualified healthcare professionals who contribute to the development of the healthcare sector; Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through developing educational and training programs according to modern standards; and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening cooperation between the University and healthcare and educational institutions.
Through this visit, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirmed its commitment to promoting a culture of quality assurance and academic accreditation and to developing an advanced educational environment that contributes to preparing competencies capable of serving society and meeting the requirements of sustainable development.
