Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in the presence of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, the Director of the Diwan Affairs Department, and the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University hosted, on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, the “Interior Design Creations” exhibition in the Humanities Building. The event represented an academic artistic showcase reflecting innovation and contemporary aesthetic vision among the College’s students.
The exhibition witnessed notable attendance from faculty members, students, and individuals interested in the arts, in an atmosphere that demonstrated the University’s commitment to supporting young talents and providing a stimulating educational environment that nurtures creativity and fosters excellence.
The displayed works varied between modern designs and innovative concepts, highlighting students’ ability to integrate aesthetic and functional dimensions while applying principles of sustainable design that emphasize resource efficiency and the enhancement of interior environments.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting creative learning and developing applied skills; Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by advancing sustainable interior design concepts that improve quality of life and urban environments; Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) through encouraging the use of sustainable materials and reducing waste in design processes; and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by fostering innovation in design and modern technologies.
The exhibited projects also reflected a high level of intellectual and technical maturity through the effective application of theoretical knowledge into precise and innovative practical outputs, demonstrating students’ readiness to contribute actively to the development of the interior design sector in line with sustainability standards.
The exhibition further served as a platform for artistic dialogue and knowledge exchange, as well as an opportunity to identify and highlight emerging talents, in line with the College of Fine Arts’ mission to promote a culture of creativity linked to sustainability.
