Al-Mustaqbal University has donated a set of advanced medical devices, essential medical supplies, and materials to Marjan Medical City as part of its ongoing support for the health sector and its commitment to serving citizens in the province of Babylon.
This initiative comes as a reaffirmation of the continuous cooperation and joint efforts between Al-Mustaqbal University and local health institutions, aiming to provide the best medical and healthcare services to the Babylonian community.
The university’s donation included several ventilators, blood pressure monitors, thermometers, and other materials that support healthcare services at the medical city.
In response, Dr. Fadel Al-Sultani, Director of Marjan Medical City, expressed his deep gratitude for this initiative, describing it as a reflection of the significant efforts made by Al-Mustaqbal University in serving the local community, particularly in the healthcare sector. He emphasized that “this support plays an active role in improving the quality of healthcare services provided to patients by equipping the medical city with the latest treatment devices and essential medical equipment, enhancing its capacity to deliver advanced and effective medical services.”
Dr. Al-Sultani also noted that “this step serves as a major incentive to provide necessary medical services to patients and visitors from various cities within the Babylon province, thus contributing to strengthening the local healthcare system and raising the standard of medical care.”
This initiative aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 3: "Good Health and Well-being," by supporting the local health system and improving the quality of medical services offered to citizens. Additionally, the provided equipment and supplies also support Goal 4: "Quality Education," by being used in training students in health and medical specialties, thereby enhancing their practical skills and improving the quality of medical education at the university.
