As part of the activities of the Third International Festival for Sustainable Development, Al-Mustaqbal University hosted a distinguished panel discussion entitled:
“Effective Partnership for Sustainable Education: Integrating Local Community Needs with the Role of the Center for Continuing Education”, with the participation of a select group of administrative leaders from Babylon Governorate.
The session was attended by:
Mr. Ali Raji – Director General of Babylon Education
Eng. Abdul-Jaleel Al-Shujairi – Director General of the Babylon Investment Commission
Eng. Mohammed Abdul-Jabbar – Director of Babylon Electricity Department
Dr. Mohammed Ajrash – Director of the Public Clinics Department in Babylon, Director of the Center for Training and Human Development, and representative of the Babylon Health Directorate
The session was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Redha Abdul-Aty Al-Fishaawi, Director of the Center for Continuing Education at Al-Mustaqbal University.
The discussion addressed the following key topics:
Identifying training needs for government departments and institutions
Discussing the types of workshops, courses, and developmental programs suitable for human resources in these institutions
Exploring avenues for joint cooperation between the Center for Continuing Education and the various departments to achieve genuine sustainable development based on capacity building and skills enhancement
This initiative reaffirms Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to strengthening integration with the local community, and reflects its vision in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education.
